We are a friendly family run stud based in Gwent, South Wales. We have owned Shetland ponies for around 5 years, originally starting as a hobby for my husband Philip.
We have progressed a lot since then, owning around one hundred ponies,   of good breed lines and quality. A must we think for any stud, wanting to breed quality foals.
Our ponies are very friendly;   they are handled on a daily basis. They are handled by our selves and by children, of all ages. We think this is very important, the ponies have good temperaments, as quite a few of the ponies we have bred, have now been sold to loving homes where children are part of the family.
We love to show our ponies, although we do not show as much as we would like, due to the fact of looking after the ponies.  Hopefully this year though, due to us having more help at hand, we hope to do more shows. Maybe getting more of our own home bred stock out in to the show ring. We were very proud of our home bred colt foal Timberland Bronco, on his first outing as a foal, winning a 2nd  place a 1st and a reserve supreme champion foal.
